We recommend arriving by Thursday afternoon so you can join the welcome festivities and settle in before the big day. The celebration will wrap up on Saturday night after a casual farewell beach bonfire.

Think coastal California with a relaxed, lived-in feel. We want the weekend to feel effortless, fun, and filled with lots of laughter.
-
Garden Party: Think summer garden chic! Flowy dresses, jumpsuits, nice slacks or button-downs. Layers in case it gets chilly as this is an all outdoor event.
Ceremony/Reception: The dress code is cocktail attire- chic but not black-tie. Think elevated, effortless, and comfortable. We love rich, moody hues and muted brights inspired by the Northern California coast (deep greens, rusts, soft blues, wine tones, and warm neutrals). Heels aren’t required as the outdoor ceremony is on uneven ground, and a light jacket or wrap is recommended for the evening chill.
For inspiration, we’ve created two Pinterest boards to help set the vibe and color palette: Men - Women
Beach BBQ: Casual beach vibes- comfortable, relaxed, and ready for fun in the sand.

June in Mendocino is usually mild, with daytime temps in the 60s–70s and cooler evenings in the 50s. The coast can get breezy, so layers are your friend!

If your invitation includes a guest, their name will appear on your envelope and RSVP. We wish we could host everyone we love, but space is limited.

We love your little ones, but this primarily an adults-only weekend so everyone can fully relax and enjoy.

The closest airports are San Francisco (SFO), Oakland (OAK), and Santa Rosa (STS). Mendocino is about a 3–4 hour scenic drive from the Bay Area — we recommend renting a car and enjoying the views along Highway 1. Visit out Travel page for more info.

We’ve reserved room blocks at Joshua Grindle Inn, Seagull B&B, and Maccallum House. There are also plenty of cozy inns, cottages, and Airbnbs nearby. Everything in Mendocino is fairly close together — check our Stay page for recommendations.

All of the event venues are within walking distance from each other. Most of the recommended accommodations will be a short walk or drive away.
